A push to repeal the emergency Manager of the Michigan law gains steam

Volunteer for a petition drive to repeal a controversial law emergency managers of State collected more than 80% of the signatures required to put the issue before voters in November 2012, the Group's Stand Up for democracy, who led the effort, said on Friday.

This announcement came one day after Mayor Dave Bing said the city on the fast track to Bankruptcy and will likely need to be designated as the Manager of the State of emergency to avoid economic collapse.

The Group should gather at least 161,000 signatures from registered voters of Michigan. The group says it has at least 131,000 signature valid so far. Said to be hoping to have a rest by mid-December.

Stand Up for democracy say the legislation, signed by Governor Rick Snyder earlier this year, was unconstitutional because it leaves voters without a voice as elected officials to get rid of the designated emergency one with the Manger of the strength of the area to sell assets, remove the Union contract and cut services.

"The fiscal Crisis is no reason to put an end to democracy," a volunteer Amy Hardin across the city said.

Tampa manslaughter suspect now faces charges of theft

Pending the hearing of the murder in the death of 78-year-old woman, Jana Porter stole jewelry from a woman that he cleaned House, Tampa police said.

Porter, 46, was arrested Sunday at his home, 6318 s. Richard Ave. He was charged with third-degree grand theft, and his bond was revoked on charges of murder and aggravated abuse he does old or disabled adult.

The latest incident occurred when Porter of stealing jewelry from home while working for maid service, police said. When the victim discovers the missing jewelry, he goes to a pawn shop and find the one nearest the ring missing.

Obama to make a Fort Monroe national monument

WASHINGTON (AP)-President Barack Obama wants to give you eternal protection for the army deactivated Fort in the Virginia Tidewater area which plays an important role in the history of the slave.

In California, a dilemma which is tiresome
